Random Fact 1

I love a lot of different dog breeds, but I never had the connection like I did with a Pit Bull. I grew up with one, and I never regretted having one. They are incredibly sweet, and I plan on getting a rescue one in the future.

Random Fact 2

My best friend is more like a sister to me. We’ve known each other for years, and became more like family. We plan on taking trips to different countries and learn about their cultures.

Random Fact 3

I love using my Instax camera to take polaroid pictures. I love that vintage feel, and the way those memories look on the film. Any time there’s a family get together,

Hello and welcome!

My name is Sarena (Sa-rai-na) but most people call me Rena (Rai-na)

I have my associate degree in graphic arts.

I mainly create art with my laptop, Wacom tablet, iPad, and hand drawn things. I use Procreate for my iPad and use both Photoshop and Clip Studio on my Wacom/laptop. From creating ads to creating fanart I can do quite a bit. I enjoy drawing for fun, creating fun flyers, designing posters, and designing shoes/other apparel. If I think I can do it, I will.

Growing up I was always interested in art. My parents constantly supported my hobby and would get me all sorts of art supplies so I could keep drawing. When I was a high school senior my mom helped guide me to check out South Hills and their Graphic Arts program. After working hard to put together a portfolio and making sure I was prepared for any entry tests, I got the call during my Financial Management class that I was accepted into the program.

College for me was easy but stressful. It seemed easier because all my classes had to do with my major. I felt like I was learning useful skills that had to do with my career choice. The projects were challenging, but that was what I wanted. My class was small with only seven people my first year and 3 in my second year. Since I was part of a small class, I grew close with my GA instructors. They’re great people and I learned so much from them. I try and stay in touch with them and I’m forever grateful for them.

Part of my credentials for graduating was an internship. I managed to do my internship at Penn State and I’m still currently working with the same department. I also ended up working part time at South Hills as well.

Rena’s Graphics came to be because we created an identity for ourselves for my one class. I created my logo and built this website from scratch. Everything on my website is my own creation which I’m so proud of. My resume and cutsheet also came from a class assignment.

Rena Revived is another identity I go under. I made that logo for another class assignment, and I couldn’t let it go to waste. Rena’s Graphics is more of my business identity while my personal/online presence is Rena Revived. I post using both handles, so both identities go hand in hand.
